XP points
How does it work?
Your engagement on the internet is measured and rewarded in XP points. The XP is added automatically to your dashboard, so you can keep track of your balance. XP is not a digital token nor tradable as a cryptocurrency but will unlock rewards at different thresholds. XP is stored securely on our gamification API ledger.
There are different types of XP points in the game.
Netizen XP is awarded for completing various Actions, such as following a Twitter account. Participating in Raids, and Campaigns can also earn you XP rewards. During Raids and Campaigns, each event specifies the amount of XP that can be earned beforehand.
Patron XP is awarded in a similar manner for participating in respective Patron Raids and Campaigns.
Both types of XP can also be earned through the continuous gameplay elements in Netizen, such as referring friends to Netizen, levelling-up perks, and competing in the various leaderboards.
XP points in the game:
Netizen XP points are rewarded:
For each Netizen action you complete you get 10 points (e.g. Linking Twitter handle to your Netizen account).
During Netizen Raids, each Raid will specify the amount of Netizen XP that will be earned upon completion.
Patron XP points are rewarded:
For completing Patron Actions
For completing Patron Raids.
For completing Patron Campaigns.
Importance of earning XP:
Netizen XP empowers users to build up their reputation and clout across the linked internet platform and to level-up in the Netizen game. Levelling up will gradually unlock various access and perks within the game itself which can lead to further rewards. When the Netizen token is launched, a percentage of the tokens will be airdropped to early users in proportion to how much XP they have accumulated. After the token is launched, users will be periodically rewarded from the Reward Vault which will be filled from revenue generated by Netizen itself through various Patron partnerships and other activities within the Netizen game.
Patron XP empowers users to build up their reputation and clout within the various Patron communities and unlock perks & rewards offered by the Patrons. Patrons have the ability to create their own gamification system and so Patron XP will unlock a rich and diverse rewardable experience in their own image.
